And so I inhale,
To make the spark a flame,
To feel you beating in my heart
And rushing through my veins.
For I cannot fail,
If I flow with you again.
Because passion, I do not find you,
When you’re within all that I am.
And so I meet myself,
To ignite the fire.
To look you in the eyes,
Is to lift me ever higher.
For I cannot lie,
When I no longer see the liar.
Because, passion, beyond the smoke and mirrors,
You reveal all I desire.
And so I exhale
And surrender my control.
To let you race through my body
And illuminate my soul.
For I cannot unveil,
What I have always known.
Because passion, I search for nothing,
When you already show me home.
